Who is eligible for House Soccer?
Any child born between 8/1/92 and 7/31/07 is eligible to participate in the VYS House Soccer program (see birth date guidelines) regardless of ability.
How can I register to play?
Click here to register online for House Soccer. All players who register on time for the fall and/or spring season are guaranteed placement on a team in their appropriate age group. Late registrations (new and returning players) will be placed on a waiting list and placed on teams where space is available or pending the identification of new coaches and the formation of new teams.
Fall season registration begins in mid-June, and Spring season registration begins in mid-December.
How are teams formed?
House Commissioners form teams, based on the number of volunteer coaches and assistant coaches. There are no “school” teams and as a general rule, no more than four children from a single school play on one team in order to promote friendship and sportsmanship among players of different schools.
How many practices a week will my child have to attend?
When does the season start?
In general, the Fall season starts mid-September and ends mid-November. The Spring season starts late March and ends mid-June.
