Program: High School Skills Training (House Players)
Fall 2012

October 29 and October 30 sessions are canceled due to the weather.

About: The HS Academy Training is designed for players who are interested in developing their individual
skills and technical ability. The program gives players an opportunity not only to refine existing skills, but
to learn new ones. It focuses on technique, soccer intelligence and decision-making under pressure. The
Technical Development Program is run by experienced professional trainers and includes instructional
demonstrations, technical training, footwork training, creative small sided games and scrimmages.

What to Bring: Wear a white shirt, cleats and shin guards, bring water and a ball with your name on it.
 
Gender: Girls
Day of the week: Mondays
Dates: Sept. 3, 10, 17, 24; Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 (no make ups)
 
Gender: Boys
Day of the week: Tuesdays
Dates: Sept. 4, 11, 18, 25; Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 (no make ups)
 
Number of sessions: 9 sessions
 
Time:
1 hour training session with the professional coach and 30 minutes pick up/small sided games
Group I:
7:00 – 8:00 p.m = Training session with the professional coach
8:00 – 8:30 p.m = Pickup/small sided games
Group II:  
7:30 – 8:00 p.m = Pickup/small sided games
8:00 – 9:00 p.m = Training session with the professional coach
 
Location: NewSong Church
 
Fee: “FREE” (VYS members only)
