In Search of 2008 Sponsors & Individual Donations...
Why our team? It’s simple. Not only are the Comets champions, the Comets are one of the most diverse groups of young ladies to represent Vienna, VA. Our girls are Korean, Filipino, Indian, AmerAsian, African American, European and all American. The Comets live and go to school in Vienna AND Oakton as well as Fairfax. The Comets attend the following schools with PTA representation in all: Louise Archer, Wolftrap, Flint Hill, Oakton, St. Mark’s, St. Leo’s in Fairfax, Mosby Woods and Green Hedges. Our local press coverage, lists and relationships grow as we continue to participate and win in tournaments.
Your generous donation directly benefits each player on the team equally and is used to offset a variety of team expenses including tournament fees, travel and training & development. You will shape the lives of young female athletes who will hopefully go on to achieve wonderful accomplishments. In return we offer our biggest thanks, a tax deduction and various forms of advertising to promote your business. Any amount will get you listed on our team web page that generates hundreds of hits each season from our players, perspective NOVA players and members of VYS. That’s over 500 families per season in the surrounding Vienna area. We also produce practice jerseys with your company logo on the back, bags or car magnets for any donation that exceeds $1000. The soccer ball car magnet gets driven all over town & beyond with your company logo all year long. It’s our hope that these grass roots effort promote your business and reward you with an expanded and loyal customer base.
