Excel Red is playing in NCSL Division 1 for the spring 2011 season.  The team is starting its third season in Division 1 following a rapid advancement from Division 5 in spring 2008.  As of 15 May 2011, the team is in third place in Division 1.   

Excel Red won the U-15 Boys Superior Division of the Jefferson Cup in Richmond/Williamsburg, VA over the weekend of 11-13 March 2011.

Tryouts for the Fall 2011 U-16 team will be held on Thursday 9 June, Tuesday 14 June, and Thursday 16 June from 6:30pm-8:00pm at Marshall High School on the turf practice field behind the stadium field.  Please send a note to Mark Gardiner if you are interested in trying out.  Please double check that dates and times have not changed prior to coming to tryouts.

Excel Red is always looking for talented, committed players.  In particular, we are looking for a striker and a second goal keeper.  If you would like to come to a training session with us please call team manager Mark Gardiner.
