Five VYS players from the rising U14 Girls Thunder team secured their first Super Y South Atlantic Championship over this past weekend in Atlanta Georgia beating Southern Soccer Academy 2:0 and Atlanta Fire United 4:1.
The U13G Virginia Alliance team plays in the summer Super Y-League and is coached by Todd Hamlin and Nadir Moumen.
The VYS players include: E. Brockman, P. Emory, B. Mitchell, A. Moschella and B. O’Donnell.
The girls will now advance to the National championship in December in Tampa Bay Florida. Here they will meet other Super Y players from across North America and compete for the national title.
