VIENNA YOUTH SOCCER KICKS OFF FALL SEASON AT AUGUST 24TH COMMUNITY DAY

VIENNA, VA –August 2014 – On August 24th, Vienna Youth Soccer (VYS) invites VYS players, their families and the community to kick off the 2014 fall season at the first annual VYS COMMUNITY DAY.

The fun-filled event will be held at Caffi Field from 2pm - 5pm and is open to the entire Vienna community. Kids (and adults!) of all ages can enjoy running through the inflatable obstacle course, shooting hoops, or dunking their favorite VYS trainer in the large dunk tank. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet and take a photo with Talon, DC United's mascot, enter to win DC United game tickets, or take part in one of the several small-sided soccer games organized by VYS' Technical Director, Eddie Lima.

VYS is proud to host this free, family event for all VYS members and the Vienna community to welcome back our players and their families and start the new season with a day of fun and games.

"Vienna Youth Soccer is always looking for ways to thank the community for their support and we are excited for VYS Day.  There will be games, refreshments and the DC United mascot will be on hand for photos.  I hope everyone is able to come out!", VYS President Mike Allen.
