VYS Presents: The Development Center

Play with Passion, Courage, and Competitiveness.
The VYS Development Center Program is for interested U7 & U8 players registered for the VYS House League! VYS aims to invest in our ambitious young players to help them fall in love with the game of soccer. The VYS Development Center is a great way to get more time on the ball, meet and work with our Professional Coaching Staff, participate in challenging and rewarding sessions while developing your skills, receive meaningful evaluation and feedback from experienced coaches, and engage in a memorable soccer experience. There is no cost associated with this program.

VYS could not be more excited to announce this incredible initiative that has been in the works for quite some time. Our Staff & Board continually seeks to provide meaningful and accessible soccer experiences, and this season onward we will be investing in our players more than ever before.

Why Should I Join the Development Center Program?

  • Improve as Players! The 5-week Development Center led by VYS professional coaches is built to develop our players to play with Passion, Courage, and Competitiveness. This is the perfect program for players seeking improvement, more time on the ball, and a challenging environment.

  • Build Relationships with our Professional Coaching Staff & Travel Directors! If your child is interested in growing with the club or playing Travel soccer, the Development Center is a great introduction.

  • Have Fun! Above all, the Development Center is a chance for players to play more soccer, make friends, and have fun! Players will get the chance to attend DC United & Washington Spirit games, participate in game-like opportunities, and attend special events hosted by George Mason University. There will be tons of opportunities to make lasting soccer memories!
