Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, check the VYS Field Closure Status before going to the field. You may also sign up for text alerts on the VYS website announcing VYS field closure status.
If you cannot confirm field closure status, then go to your game assignment! Do not assume that a game is canceled because it is or was raining. Most of the fields VYS uses for games that involve referees are turf fields. These fields are rarely closed.
If a field is closed or a game is cancelled due to weather after you arrive at the field or after a game begins, you will be paid for the entire game.
