Return to Play

Vienna Youth Soccer (VYS) will have U13-U19 Eagles, and Phoenix teams return to the field on June 17th. U9-U12 teams will continue virtual training on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while U13-U19 Academy teams will remain in a down period through July 3rd.

In preparation to resume training, we will follow directives from both state officials, Fairfax County, and the CDC to provide a safe environment for our players, coaches, and families.

Phase 3 Updates (July 1, 20202)

-We are now permitted to have up to 250 players on the field at a time.  However, we will continue to limit attendance to just the coaching staff and players.

-Per Virginia Governors Office, matches are permitted during Phase 3.  This will allow training sessions to include small-sided games and 11v11 scrimmages.

What should I do if I don't feel comfortable with the Phase 3 changes?

-We understand that some families may not feel comfortable with Phase 3, we ask that you please notify your coach.

-Can my son or daughter come, but refrain from playing in the scrimmages?  At this time, we ask players that do not feel comfortable playing in the scrimmages do not attend the training sessions.
