TOPSoccer

VYS fully funds the participation of ALL TOP Soccer participants!

VYS, in affiliation with US Youth Soccer under TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer), offers the opportunity to join in the soccer fun to players with disabilities ages 4 to 19 years old. The program is designed to involve children with varying disabilities in the enriching game of soccer.

Each child is paired with one or two volunteer buddies and coaches. Every Saturday afternoon during the fall and spring seasons, coaches will offer fun soccer drills tailored to each player’s ability.

L.A.C.E.S.

L.A.C.E.S works to create a sustainable, replicable model of community development using sports as a tool to reach at-risk youth and empower their local communities. Part of this structure involved volunteering opportunities and donations of various kinds.

Recycle Your Game

Are you interested in donating new or gently used soccer equipment? VYS will host two Recycle Your Game events at the start of Spring and Fall season in order to collect and redistribute soccer equipment that improves the experience of L.A.C.E.S participants. to kids who love the game but don’t have the equipment to play.

Volunteer Opportunities

L.A.C.E.S. hosts different yearly events in the greater Washington D.C. area. This is a fun and great opportunity for children from all nations and languages to unite over the common language of soccer.  To make their events successful L.A.C.E.S recruits volunteers to do various tasks. Service learning hours provided to High School and Middle School volunteers.

Belong Vienna

VYS is proud to partner with BELONG VIENNA

Belong Vienna is a nonprofit organization spreading love through education and service in the Northern Virginia community.

VYS works with Belong Vienna to provide two soccer clinics each year for players participating in Belong Vienna events and activities. Clinics are run by VYS volunteers.
