VYS is dedicated to the development of players on and off the field. The College Recruitment process involves much more than on the field performances. The Club acts as a resource tool for all of our players interested in continuing their soccer careers.
Interested in collegiate athletics... we recommend attending our College Info Night for a full understanding of the steps ahead and how best to plan for it. In addition, outlined below are several resources to help you along your journey.
VYS annually awards two scholarships in the amount of $2,500 to high school seniors looking to further their education whom have participated at the club. This one-time scholarship will be awarded based on the applicant's involvement in the club over the years, their application, supporting information, and required essay.
The VYS Scholarship Program is designed to celebrate the exceptional character of VYS players in general, and acknowledge and reward specific individuals who have demonstrated exceptional standards of sportsmanship, dedication, leadership, community service, and/or perseverance.

Applicants will need to complete the registration through PlayMetrics. Students must have their own player profile through their parent's/guardian's account. This will allow them eligibility to apply.
In order to complete your registration, you will need electronic copies of your transcript and personal essay (prompt available during registration) ready to upload. There is also an optional field to upload a recommendation letter, as we are aware not all recommendation letters are submitted by the applicant. Keep in mind, this is a REQUIREMENT to be selected as a recipient and is the applicants responsibility to ensure the club receives all necessary items for consideration.
